HistoryECS Logistics was formed in November 2007 by David Cunningham, Paddy Ryan and Jack Carroll. With over 60 years logistical experience between them they set about organising a complete logistical, storage and procurement solution for their clients. From the start, same day courier work in Dublin, Leinster and Ireland was key and heavy emphasis was put on return of customer POD’s next day if required or if not within the week. Fair and competitive pricing along with standard billing charges attracted many customers. Within 3 months ECS moved to a 10,000 square foot warehouse in Santry and started providing trailer stripping for freight forwarding companies from UK, Italy and Holland. Each month brought more and more business which obviously bucked the trend of the current recessionary environment to the extent that in April ‘09 ECS opened their new 40,000 square foot warehouse in Clonshaugh. This facility is on a 2.2 acre site and with sufficient loading bays to cater for 10+ trailers in the morning rush period from 5.00am to 9.30am. The positioning of our two facilities in Santry and Clonshaugh with 50,000 square foot for storage and office space, are both within less than 5 minutes access on or off the M50. The close proximity to the Airport and port tunnel also allows easy and fast access to 80% of all freight that comes into Ireland from overseas and is perfect for such freight forwarders. It also this gives us the opportunity to service our customers both nationally and internationally. Call us now!ECS are open 24hrs for our clients that need us. |
